Refurbished and extended from an old farmhouse cottage, the large solarium, swimming pool and garden now occupy what was the agricultural land in front of the villa. On one side of the solarium is the large covered barbecue area (with built-in barbecue and outdoor dining facilities). Next to this is the pool shower room and toilet, and the billiard and games room (with PlayStation and table games).
As you enter the villa, the hall leads to the stairs to the first floor and to the open-plan living area. The front lounge/dining benefits from the great views and opens to the solarium. The modern, contemporary open plan kitchen kitchen with central island and downstairs guest toilet occupy the older part of the house. Upstairs there are air-conditioned 4 bedrooms, two with double beds and en-suite shower-room and shared balcony, and two with two single beds each that share a family shower room. The Villa also boasts a Rooftop fitness room with surrounding terrace and sea-view, treadmill, crosstrainer, multi-exercise bench and weights.
In the annex, above the billiards room, there is a self-contained 5th bedroom with en-suite shower room. At the rear, there is a large car-park (enough for 4 cars). The whole villa is walled, so safe for children.
The villa is located in a suburban area in the sunny hills above Calheta. The nearest facilities (restaurant, café, supermarket, mini-market, medical centre) are only 120m away, within easy walking distance. Only 200 m away is another cluster of café, restaurant, pharmacy and petrol station. There are a selection of cafés and snack-bars in a 400m radius of the villa.
The resort of Calheta, with its popular man-made beach, marina, larger branded supermarket, bank and a further selection of cafés and restaurants is 3 Km away. Sailing, diving and big-game fishing re all available in the Marina. Calheta is also known for the quality of its sugar cane rum, and you can visit the local sugar mill. There is easy road access to the Madeira mountains for sightseeing, levada walking and hiking.
Just over 2 Km away is the access to the expressway, which provides access to the other areas of the island and an easy 30 minute drive to the capital Funchal (30 km away) and an easy 45 minute drive to the airport
